Thank you for making the Ohio Bat Festival a special one!

On October 25, 2025, we hosted our first-ever Ohio Bat Fest in Cincinnati, celebrating our amazing bat neighbors! More than 370 people joined us for a day filled with learning, creativity, and community. We hope everyone left with something new and exciting about bats—and a greater appreciation for the wildlife that shares our city.

Bat Fest 2026 is Taking Shape—No, We Don’t Sleep 🦇

We’re already planning Bat Fest 2026, and a few exciting updates are underway.

• 🎨 A collectible Bat Fest poster, created in collaboration with an artist—with the artwork appearing across select 2026 merchandise

• 🌙 A special talk on moon gardens, exploring night-friendly landscapes and biodiversity

• 🌼 A pollinator education booth, highlighting the connections between bats, insects, and healthy ecosystems

• 🏡 Turning bat challenges into opportunities — an educational booth on bats in human spaces

Help Support the Ohio Bat Fest

The Ohio Bat Fest is a free event for all community members. All coordinators and people running the various activities are unpaid volunteers. Community members and organizations can help ensure the event continues through donations or sponsorships.
